With his creation of Elgin Park Michael Paul Smith has gone far, far beyond mere diorama displays of diecast cars. His miniature town is its own stylized world, complete with vignetted stories told in magical photographic images that combine master-level model making, forced perspective and other optical illusion techniques to create the ultimate in scale nostalgia! Elgin’s tagline is: “The keys are in the car, there’s a full tank of gas, and the food is good at the diner.”
