M2 Machines’ Auto-Haulers release 5 is making its way to hobby shops and mass retailers world-wide. The three rig series consists of a 1956 Ford C-500 COE truck & box trailer which pays homage to an American Legend, Carroll Shelby, with the truck and box trailer mimicking the old Shelby trucks of the 1960’s. Both are painted Guardsman Blue metallic and are adorned with Shelby and Cobra text, and the trailer wears – surprise, surprise – the new 50th Anniversary COBRA 1962-2012 logo.
There’s also a 1957 Dodge COE truck, car carrier and 1957 Chrysler 300C, which is finished in Omaha Orange with Red Fenders and chassis, and boasts a “York Auto Transport” logo. The car carrier is also painted to match the COE truck; it also shows a vintage ad announcing “The Mighty Chrysler 300C, America’s Most Powerful Car – 375 hp!” Finished in Deep Ruby metallic with tan interior, the old C is a real looker. Authentic, too… notice the black steel wheels? The full wheel covers are in the trunk for transporting.
For GM fans, the must have piece of the series will be the 1958 Chevrolet LCF Truck, short trailer & 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge. This one’s signage says “All Rise for The Judge Ram Air V”, and the set includes a Carousel Red 1958 Chevrolet LCF truck with black interior, a white grille, white bumper and black Dayton wheels. The short enclosed trailer is done up in aluminum and Carousel Red, and the trailer’s window sides and vintage Pontiac Judge graphics look great; the Carousel Red 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge model parked within has the standard grille and head lights, as well as the Judge rear wing and hood tach. The door graphic makes reference to ultra-rare RAM AIR V option.
All in all, sweet machines and a big blast of nostalgia. Get rolling.
An let’s not forget the chase piece of the series……………Keep an eye out for the Gold trimmed Shelby 1956 Ford C-500 COE Truck & Box Trailer.
