Round 2 for Ertl’s American Muscle Series

RC2's impending withdrawal from the diecast market has been a blow to the diecast community, but the news has not been all bad -- for several weeks rumors have circulated that many of the American Muscle molds and tools were going to be leased by RC2 to another company. Some hard details on that deal has finally been made public -- special thanks to Jim at Supercar Collectibles for getting the word out.

 

The official press release from Auto World, the company taking over the licensing rights to RC2's tooling, reads:
