Race Bred: M2 Shelby GT350 Comp Cars Roll Out

Shelby was a prolific supplier of all kinds of race-ready cars, and M2 Machines’ release 20B of its Shelby GT350 mold sets honors the pumped-up ponies with three new takes on the classic Mustang’s legacy. The first is one of the Shelby factory drag cars, a ’65 GT350 in Wimbledon White with Guardsman Blue stripes, and added detail parts like a larger hood-mounted scoop and drag slicks out back; the ’65 GT350R model carries the same paint scheme, but it’s geared for the curves, not the quarter mile, and rolls on authentic-looking 5-spoke mags with Good Year rubber. The Chase Car – a 1966 Shelby GT350H in black and gold, with gold-toned accents and wheels, is another stunner. All of the cars feature opening doors and hoods, sharp tamped-on decorations, and bases capped with diamond-plate plastic. The man may be gone, but the cars – and M2 – will carry on.
