Little Lambos, Big Detail

1:64 | $20ea (est)

Kyosho is all-in on the Lamborghini brand. It serves up numerous models from past and present in a variety of scales—including precision 1:64. It’s been more than 50 years since the flowing Bertone-designed lines of the Miura stunned the automotive world and its mid-engine V-12 layout shocked the competition over at Ferrari. For many it remains the greatest Lamborghini of all time. Certainly it is one of the most prized, commanding upwards of $2 million at auction. For fans that grew up in the ‘70s and ‘80s the Lambo of choice was the Countach. Whereas the Miura’s lines flow the Countach’s wedge shape is all hard angles. It was one of the boldest, most aggressive designs ever—it defined the exotic car image for more than a decade. Kyosho renders both in impressive detail in 1:64 scale in two colors each—white over silver or burgundy over gold for the Miura P400; Red or special Walter Wolf blue with Canadian flags for the Countach LP500S.
