M2 Machines “Mopar 75 Years” Auto Haulers Release 8 1:64 | $17.99
Car guys love car transporters. And why not? They’re the vessels by which our beloved rides make their way from the factory to the showrooms. M2 is on to something with its line of car haulers, and this pair takes the love even deeper, with a special “Mopar 75 Years” theme. Both trucks are 1957 Dodge COEs with deep detailing on their cabs and chassis; we really dig the crunchy and correct wheels and tires on the tractors and the trailers they’re towing. It’s the trailers themselves, and what’s stored inside each, that make the pair truly special: as part of M2’s celebration of Mopar’s 75 years in the business, one truck totes an old-school open trailer bearing a 1957 Chrysler 300, and the other a 1971 Hemi Charger in a glass-topped and sided vanity carrier. The cars have opening hoods and detailed engines, interiors, and chassis; the autos, trucks, and trailers all wear the black and blue color scheme and silver shield of this breakout series – right down to the blue streaks on the trucks’ tires. The haulers arrive on a faux diamond-plate display base with a clear, snap-on cover. This is one of the coolest sub-sets from this maker, and we can’t get enough of them. – Joe Kelly, Jr.
