Yep, we take a ton of snaps every issue – and when the models look as amazing as B&G/EUROLINE’s 1:43 resin-bodied replica of a 1927 Mercedes-Benz 710 SS, nobody can blame us for the extra effort. What an incredible piece. Few models can stand up to extreme close-up as well as this one did, especially in 1:43; the elements of the model (all 180 of them) are fashioned from photoetched steel, jewel-cast/nickel plated brass, butyrate, and resin. The interior is outstanding (it looks like alligator – the hides the real car wore), and so are those spoked wheels.

Marshall Buck’s review is in the Spring ’12 issue of DCX. In the meantime, check out the gallery – with a very limited run planned, it might be the only chance you get to see the model up close. Want to know more? Contact US distributor Mikhail Bashmashnikov of B&G models, at msbash@gmail.com.
