100 Pieces and Counting – A Behind the Scenes Look

100 Pieces and Counting – A Behind the Scenes Look

Sean Taylor of M2 Machines shared two very cool exploded views of the pieces used to build their models with us today. One is their 1:24 1957 Chevy, and the other their 1:24 1966 Shelby – and with his permission, we bring both of these behind the scenes images to you.

Have you ever wondered how many individual pieces make up a diecast car?  It’s true, the number can vary, especially as the scales get larger. The 1:24 cars from M2 boast a healthy  roster of over 100 individual pieces. The resulting models are truly hands-on replicas, and the attention to detail is sweet. Even better, M2 Machines’ 1:24 lineup is priced very reasonably.
