Two things come to mind when the words Chevrolet and racing are combined—V8 power and NASCAR. The two most unlikely words for a racing Chevy are small and touring car. Yet, here’s a successful example of the latter. Norev’s 1:43-scale little Chevrolet Lacetti was campaigned by Alain Menu in the WTCC series. The compact racer is a very intriguing diecast with its tri-tone paint scheme and bold livery. The interior is fully detailed with cage and safety equipment. The exterior trim is excellent—especially the grille, headlights and taillights. While the Monte Carlo SS stock cars grab all the North American attention, the smaller Lacetti and Cruze sedans are Chevy’s European stars.
