Made by AutoWorld, this hard to find Ed Terry 1968 1/2 Cobra Jet Mustang Super/Stock (SS/E) drag car was produced specifically for Matco Tools. We’ll save you the trouble of flagging down one of those Matco Tool trucks; all you need do is contact the team at Supercar Collectibles. The mighty Minnesotans were able to work their magic and get their hands on a few cases of these fine blue oval bombs.

Driven for Ford by the West Coast Ford Drag Team captain Ed Terry, sponsored by Hayward Ford, and tuned by Bob Spears, this replica has hood pins, hood scoop, and a well replicated 428 CJ motor with headers. There’s a readable tach on the dash, and the potent pony features the correct bucket seats, carpet, a red oxide primer chassis (with white overspray, a la factory) and a gloss black 9″ rear. The chrome wheels with slicks on the rear and Cragar S/S mags on the front finish off the classic vintage drag look to perfection. This one looked good parked near the Christmas Tree on many a drag strip; if classic door-slammer drag Fords are your thing, we can think of another tree they might look good parked under.
