To coincide with the re-launch of Die Cast X’s Instagram page, we are kicking off a new regular feature: Model of the Day. The idea is to show you regular snapshots and teasers of some of the models we get on a weekly basis here at the office. Many of these will be your first chance to see what will appear in the pages of the next issue, as well as sneak peeks at the stuff we spy at the big shows like Nuremberg and the New York Toy Fair.
So, without further ado, meet the Supercar Collectibles Ronny Sox and Buddy Martin Cudas — demonstrator models Plymouth gave to the two racers for daily drivers as perks for signing their race contract in 1970. Based on the Highway 61 1:18 Cuda tooling, these are the first models to come from these hugely popular molds in nearly 8 years!
