1948-55 Chevrolet Pickup

1948-55 Chevrolet Pickup

In a postwar America striving to rejuvenate itself, the Chevy “Advanced Design” truck line pushed a new ideal forward. Its most important contribution was that it was the first GM vehicle designed entirely postwar. There were 107 light, medium and heavy-duty models in the line—quite a commitment by GM. It was during this time that the American auto industry became the largest employer in the world. In scale: A first for America; a first for Jada. This is the very first Jada diecast. The ’53 Chevy wrecker is the foundation for the brand. The ’53 truck has remained in the Jada line in one form or another ever since.
Maker: Jada | Scale: 1:24 | Price: $30
